Food Safety Training

Food Safety training is a smart business practice for every restaurant and food service operation. It requires a commitment to a mindset of consistently providing safe food to every one of your customers.

Classes at Food 4 Thought Consulting are small to allow you the attention you need to understand the material, pass the exam and bring the knowledge back to your kitchen and train others.


Manager Training:

  • Provides food managers with training in all areas of food safety.
  • Provides all of the required information to successfully pass the Servsafe exam
  • The Servsafe Certificate is valid for five years.

This program includes six hours of training followed by the Servsafe exam.


Covers the basics:

  • How Food becomes unsafe
  • Good Personal Hygiene
  • Controlling time and temperature
  • Preventing Cross Contamination
  • How and When to clean and Sanitize
This program is a comprehensive overview to Food Safety and it can be tailored to meet your restaurant/facilities needs.

A 4-hour class:

  • Thirty minute test time
  • The National Restaurant Association certified exam is offered at the end of the training.
